These five track stars have made their mark in history. These are people you might have heard of, even though they may not have been your friends. What do they have in common? Read on to find out! Sha'Carri Richardson

Sha'Carri Richardson is a talented American track and field sprinter who competes in the 100-meter and 200-meter sprints. While a Louisiana State University freshman, she broke the 100-meter speed record in 10.75 seconds. Now a full-time athlete, Richardson is now a role model for young women across the world.

Allyson Felix

Allyson Felix is an American former track and field athlete. For the first nine of her years, she was a 200-meter sprinter before moving to the 400 meters late in her career. She now occupies a prominent spot among the top women athletes, and she is an inspiration to those who desire to pursue their dreams. These are some fun facts and figures about Felix. Robin Bone

Robin Bone is a former high school track star who turned 25 this week. As a teenager she was involved in almost all sports, from basketball and soccer to gymnastics and track & field. She was a top competitor since she was 15 years old, but had a concussion that forced her to withdraw. After deciding that she wanted to focus solely on track, the Darien High School track squad was created.


Nadine Broersen

Dutch track star NadineBroersen, a world-class high jumping specialist and heptathlon specialist, is the Dutch track star. She holds the current high jump national record. She is also the 2014 World Indoor pentathlon Champion. Broersen competes with her track and fields club, AV Sprint. The club also hosts many of the top Dutch athletes. Broersen has been a strong role-model for young female athletes.

Lolo Jones

Lori Susan "Lolo” Jones of America is a hurdler and bobsledder. She is a skilled hurdler in both the 60-meter-and 100-meter distances. She has won three NCAA titles along with eleven All-American awards. She was named one of America's most influential athletes. Jones's extraordinary athletic abilities are not the only thing that makes her stand out. Jones also loves running and watching bobsled races.

Cathrine Larsasen

Norwegian pole vaulter Cathrine Larsasen was born on 5 December 1986. She is the current record holder for both indoor events and outdoor events. Larsasen is now at 0.54m, an increase of 0.54m on her personal best over the past five-years. Larsasen was the former world indoor pole vault champion and is a registered track star. She has won many awards.
