Think of a female track star. You might think of Sha'Carri or Allyson Felix. But what about the other possibilities? What about Nadine Broersen? Here are five track stars who have become a part of history. These are people you might have heard of, even though they may not have been your friends. What do these people have in common? You'll find out in the next section! Here is a look at their personal style.

Sha'Carri Richardson

Sha'Carri Richson is an American track-and-field sprinter. She rose to stardom while a freshman at Louisiana State University, breaking the 100-meter record with a time of 10.75 seconds. Richardson is now an athlete full-time and is a role model for young girls around the world.

Allyson Felix

Allyson Fitch is an American track and field veteran who was originally a 200 meter sprinter for the first nine seasons of her professional career, before switching to the 400 meter sprint in later years. She now enjoys a prominent place among the top women athletes and is an inspiration to others who want to pursue their own goals. These are some fun facts and figures about Felix. Robin Bone

A former high school track star, Robin Bone, turned 25 this week. As a teenager, she played nearly every sport under the sun, from soccer and basketball to gymnastics and track and field. Since age 15, she was a leading contender in the event. But, she had to stop after sustaining a concussion. She decided to focus on track and joined the Darien High School track team.


Nadine Broersen

Dutch track star Nadine Broersen is a world-class high jumper and heptathlon specialist. She holds a national record for high jump, and she is also the 2014 World Indoor pentathlon champion. Broersen competes in track and field for AV Sprint, her track club in Breda. The club also hosts many of the top Dutch athletes. Broersen has been a strong role-model for young female athletes.

Lolo Jones

Lori Susan "Lolo” Jones, an American hurdler and Bobsledder. She specializes in the 60-meter and 100-meter hurdles, and has won three NCAA titles and eleven All-American honors. She was named one of America's most influential athletes. Jones's extraordinary athletic abilities are not the only thing that makes her stand out. Jones also loves running and watching bobsled races.

Cathrine Larsasen

Cathrine Larsasen, the Norwegian pole vaulter was born December 5, 1986. She holds the indoor and outdoor pole vault record. Larsasen has improved her personal record by 0.54m over the last five year. Larsasen is a certified track star, and was a world indoor pole vault champion. She has also won numerous awards.
