Fowles (a former LSU star) dunk during a second quarter breakaway opportunity. Fowles managed to force Team Stewart's player for a turnover. She then stole Team Stewart's ball and slammed the ball in. Team Wilson won the game with seven points and nine boards.
Sue Bird
Sue Bird, a Chicago Bulls player, was named co-captain for the WNBA All-Stars team. Breanna Stewart and Sylvia Fowles will be joining her, which is their last WNBA season. The game will be played on Sunday, July 10, at Wintrust Arena in Chicago. It will be televised on ABC.

Arike Ogunbowale has been selected to her first WNBA All-Star roster. She is a two-time NCAA winner. She was the Dallas Wings' leading scorer in last season's league and now ranks eighth in points/game. She will be an integral part of Team USA's preparations to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
The WNBA All-Star Game will be held in Chicago July 9-10. The Saturday night event will include a skills contest and a three point contest. Ogunbowale hopes he can be part of next year's All-Star games. Team USA had won this game in the past.
Kelsey Plum
Kelsey Plum was the Aces' first WNBA All Star Game guard. She scored 30 points in defeat to Team Stewart. Despite being petite in stature Plum was named the WNBA All Star Game Champion. However, her MVP trophy was dwarfed in comparison to the All-Star MVP trophy of NBA's Kobe Bryant. Cathy Engelbert (WNBA commissioner) brought some humor and presented Plum a new trophy.
Plum stated that she was looking to win MVP. During the game, she made 12 field goals and took 18 shots, setting an All-Star record. She is currently averaging 19.9 points per game. She will be representing the United States in 3x3 basketball at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Arike Ogunbowale receives the MVP award
Arike Ogunbowale was the MVP of the WNBA all-star game. The Dallas guard played college basketball for Notre Dame. She was the fifth overall pick of the WNBA draft. Vanessa Bryant, her mother, was a big fan of the player. Her family voted her in, so this is an extra special award.
The 2021 WNBA All-Star Game saw a lot of changes, but the game still remains an all-star event. Ogunbowale won MVP honors as the only WNBA player to do so, defeating Team USA by 93-85. Ogunbowale also has the chance to do the same feat again in two years since she was named a reserve for the 2022 WNBA all-star game. The game will be held in Chicago, and will be broadcast on ABC.
