
Hope Solo is the U.S. Women's Soccer goalie. She says she made a terrible choice when she hopped in a team van with Jerramy Stephens during training camp. Stevens was charged with driving under the influence. Solo was placed on suspension for one month. The incident happened less than a week after she had domestic violence charges against her dismissed.

Hope Solo was born February 25, 1982. She played for the United States women's national soccer team from 2000 to 2016. Solo is a twotime Olympic gold-medallist and World Cup champ. Solo is considered one of the greatest goalkeepers ever.
However, success in soccer came with its own set of problems. Her personal life was turbulent and she was involved into numerous fights and disputes. In 2016, she was temporarily suspended and her contract was later terminated. She apologized for her actions and filed a grievance, saying that she was unfairly terminated. She also revealed that she had miscarried during her pregnancy with twins. Jerramy Stephens, her husband welcomed twins Lozen & Vittorio.
Briana Scurry
Briana Scurry was a former American soccer goalkeeper and is now an assistant for the Washington Spirit. She was a goalkeeper on the United States women’s national team. She also represented the United States during the 2004 Summer Olympics.

Scurry made her international debut for the USWNT in the 1994 World Cup, which was held on American soil. The women's game was not as popular then, but Scurry's efforts earned the team a gold medal. She then led the USWNT in Atlanta to gold at 1996 Olympic Games. Her performances gained her attention and recognition from both the media and fans. Her heroics at the 1999 World Cup final have been a highlight of American sports.

Alyssa Naeher serves as a soccer goalkeeper at the Chicago Red Stars (National Women's Soccer League). She also plays for the United States National Team. She made her professional debut in 2006 and has since made the jump to the big time.
Naeher was conceived in Bridgeport on 20 April 1988. Naeher, a United States woman's soccer player, made her debut with the team in December 2014. She made her debut during the 7-0 victory over Argentina at the International Tournament of Brazil. Naeher has since become one of the best goalkeepers in women's soccer and is a key part of the team's success.
Megan Rapinoe
Megan Rapinoe was the United States' 2019 Women's World Cup winner and won the Golden Ball, as well the Golden Boot. She is also a feminist who fights for equal pay and for strong voices for women in soccer. For the changes she's witnessed in the game, she credits her Seattle Reign coaches Lisa Harvey, and Jill Andonovski.
Rapinoe has not been denied the sport because of her controversial sexuality. But her popularity has enabled her to fight for equal rights for female players. She was a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ community. In fact, she was one the first white athletes in the country to kneel during the national song. This act inspired Colin Kaepernick’s protests against racism in American sport. Rapinoe was also an active participant in a lawsuit brought against the US Soccer Federation due to gender discrimination. In 2021, the case was resolved.

Jerramy Stevens
Jerramy Stephens, US women's football goalie has been arrested for allegedly assaulting Hope Solo. The altercation occurred just a day before they were scheduled to wed. Police say Stevens was detained on Monday for fourth-degree assault. However, a judge ruled there wasn't enough evidence that Stevens could be charged. However, prosecutors could bring charges later if they find other evidence.
Stevens' arrest has been a cause for concern for Hope Solo. Stevens, a former NFL tight end and captain of the U.S. women’s soccer team, reportedly had an argument with Stevens' family. Stevens was arrested, but the charges were dropped. The couple have been married for over ten years and are expecting twins in March 2020.
