Hope Solo has made some news recently. While pledging guilty to driving while intoxicated, she has also been charged with child abuse and misdemeanor driving under the influence. She has since been suspended from the Women's National Team. Hope is not the first to be implicated in scandalous incidents. Hope Solo pleads guilty driving while intoxicated

Hope Solo, U.S. soccer's star, has pleaded guilty intoxicated driving. Forsyth County Judge gave Hope Solo, 23 years old, suspended sentences and an active sentence of 30 jours. Also, she was given a substance abuse assessment. Solo was given credit by the judge for her time in a rehabilitation facility. A $2,500 fine was imposed and Solo must complete a substance abuse assessment.

In a Walmart parking space, she was arrested

Hope Solo was arrested in a Walmart parking lot in Winston-Salem North Carolina. The mother of two was charged with driving under the influence and resisting arrest. These charges were added to the misdemeanor child abuse. A witness spotted Hope Solo passing out in the driver's seat while she was driving, and the officers pulled her over. Solo and her two children, who were both asleep in the backseat, witnessed the incident.


She was charged in misdemeanor child abuse

Hope Solo, former goalkeeper of the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team was arrested on suspicion for driving while impaired (DWI), resisting arrest, and misdemeanor children abuse. On further investigation, it was found that she was also accused of misdemeanor children abuse. Solo's involvement in domestic violence was one of the reasons Solo was charged by police.

In 2016, she was removed from the Women's National Team.

Hope Solo, a former member of the U.S. Women's National Team, was expelled for 30 days in 2016 after she was arrested in 2014 on two counts each of domestic violence. This was caused by an altercation with her half sister and her 17 year-old nephew. She will be eligible to participate in the USWNT's February match again. Solo was previously reported to be suffering from a drinking problem. Solo was also reported to have been drunk while driving in a U.S. soccer truck.

She has had several run-ins with law enforcement

The retired soccer player Hope Solo has had a series of run-ins with law enforcement. In 2014, she was arrested for two misdemeanor charges of assault. Although she pleaded not guilty, the charges were eventually dismissed due to procedural violations. Kirkland had dropped domestic violence charges against Solo earlier this year. Meanwhile, Solo denied all accusations.
