She was the Pac-10 Player of The Year and Soccer America's Player Of The Year in her senior years. With 71 goals scored in 155 matches, she is the Stanford Cardinal women’s all-time leading scorer. After college, she jumped ship to the club scene, joining the Washington Freedom and becoming the first American player to win the Golden Boot award.
Julie Beth Ertz
Julie Beth Ertz has made a name for herself in soccer as one of most well-paid female players. This Colorado native played on two FIFA Women's World Cup-winning teams and represented the United States at the 2016 Olympics. She has received many awards for her athletic achievements, and was twice named U.S. Soccer Female Soccer Player of the Year. Aside from being one the highest-paid female athletes around, she also has been involved in charitable causes like the Ertz Family Foundation. Lara Dickenmann
Lara Dickenmann is a Swiss footballer who has received national honors the past few seasons. She started her career at the youth level and progressed to the senior team. In 2002, she was first-team All American and in 2004, first-team All Big Ten. She was also a threetime academic All-Big Ten honoree, and a fourtime Ohio State Scholar Athlete. Dickenmann then went on to play for both the New Jersey Wildcats (2007 season) and the Jersey Sky Blue (2007 season). Dickenmann quit Ohio State University in 2008 to join VfL Wolfsburg's women’s team.

Sydney Leroux (Canadian soccer player) is a Seattle Reign FC teammate. Leroux has also been a Canadian soccer player since her youth. Sydney Leroux is also of dual nationality. Her father was born in the U.S. and her mother is Canadian. At the age of 15, she made her professional soccer debut. She currently plays in the NWSL for the Seattle Reign FC. She played in the NWSL with the Boston Breakers in 2013, and is currently part of the Seattle Reign FC.
Jonelle Filigno
Filigno is a soccer player who has played in many different countries. She represented Canada in the Olympics twice and was part of the senior team. In 2012, she scored the game-winning goal against the British team, helping the Canadians make the semifinals and win the bronze medal. Putellas, who was an avid soccer fan as a kid, admired Rivaldo Rivaldo and Ronaldinho. Her father encouraged her to keep playing.
