Dana White's Contender Series, a tournament for young fighters on the local scene, is new. This season's main event will be the Lightweight title fight, with the Middleweights and Welterweights co-main events. The Ultimate Job Interview was canceled due to injuries to the main events competitors. However, this tournament is a fantastic opportunity to find out whether you are the next big thing for the UFC.
Dana White's sixth season Contender Series
The premiere date for the sixth season of Dana White’s Contender Series is Tuesday, July 26th at 8 PM ET. The program will air live on ESPN+. It is expected to air one episode a week. The UFC scouts the best fighters and gives them the opportunity to get contracts. The sixth season will include ten episodes.

The main event will feature lightweights
Two promising prospects are fighting for the title shot in the lightweight division, which is experiencing a revival. In the main event, former UFC fighters Ty Flores will face Rafael Alves. Both are on a four-fight winning streak. Rafael Alves, a former Titan FC interim champion lightweight fighter, trains at the MMA Masters of South Florida. Miguel Baeza, Miguel Alves' fellow fighter, has been a part of his rise to stardom.
The co-main events are for middleweights
Two of the most talented fighters in UFC 276 will take part in the comain event. The co-main event will feature No. Jack Hermansson is 6th in the rankings and No. 7 ranked Sean Strickland. Both fighters hope to face reigning division champion Israel Adesanya. Hermansson has won nine fights in a row since 2016, with six of his last eight victories. Strickland has a winning streak of five fights and hopes to extend that streak.
The comain event is the Welterweights
The co-main feature of the contender series features a fight featuring two former heavyweight champions. Both are undefeated. Bruno Assis, a Brazilian challenger to Diaz, will take on Diaz. Assis was beaten by a highly rated opponent in March. A card featuring two exciting bantamweight bouts is also planned. Mayra Bueno Silva will take on Wu Yanan and Carlos Aldo will battle a middleweight prospect.

The co-main events will feature lightweights
The lightweight division will return for the second consecutive year, with one top prospect in the UFC facing another lightweight. Brendan Battles (28-1, 2 KOs) faces Fred Grey in the co-main event. The winner will earn a spot in the lightweight division's championship fight next year.
